Would you like to make an impact in your local LGBTQIA+ community? We have several opportunities for you!

Facilitate a Support Group: We need volunteers to lead support groups for LGBTQIA+ teens, adults, and friends/family/allies. Our facilitators are trained in opening the meeting with an introductory ice breaker, welcoming new members, and supporting the conversation and needs of our attendees. Be a Greeter: When we meet in person, we’re always looking for greeters to welcome our members, share resources and meeting information, and ensure that everyone is in the right place at the right time. If you’re interested in being a greeter, email us here.

Advocacy Work

We need passionate advocates just like you—LGBTQ+ people, their parents and families, and staunch allies, such as business leaders, teachers, law enforcement, and faith leaders—to speak out to legislators, media, and even our neighbors, to help us gain critical protections for the people we love. Advocacy takes many forms, from writing letters to lawmakers, to speaking with the media. You’re in control of how much visibility you have in this process and all voices are important. It’s as simple as filling out this short form!
